Exploring our BodyStorms:

  • BodyStormWhat if the thing in the way is also the way?

BodyStorm is a one-to-one session for moments when your mind keeps overriding what your body already knows - when you want to see your situation with fresh eyes or move into what's coming with more ease, curiosity and creativity.

    Are you experiencing:

    • Not feeling at home in your own body

    • Recurring patterns in relationships or work

    • A sense of loss, doubt or feeling lost

    • Physical tension, injury, illness, exhaustion or burn/bore-out

    • A longing to move forward but not knowing how

BodyStorm makes what's been invisible a little more visible - and from there, something new becomes possible. Together we listen to what's present through the intelligence of the body. The work weaves coaching, systemic constellations, moving questions, breathwork and movement, creating space to feel and respond differently.

    What we explore:

    • Cultivating embodied awareness

    • Creating more ease in the body and movement.

    • Regulating and rewiring at a nervous system level

    • Practicing healthy, sustainable responses

    • Standing in your rightful place of your collective body(‘s)

    • Integrating meaningful change into your personal body & daily life

    How it works:
The first session is 2 hours. Follow-up sessions are 1 or 2 hours, depending on what's needed and works for you.
2-hour sessions are available for family constellations and psoas, fascia & breathwork.
    Amsterdam or online.
    Language Dutch or English.

Interested? Reach out to make the next movement forward.

  • Here we move with ourselves and with each other — entering embodied knowing through shared experience.

Collective BodyStorms are group experiences designed to deepen attunement, presence and relational intelligence through the wisdom of the body.

Together, we create a space where what is felt can be expressed, explored and moved — individually and collectively.

    Events include:

    • Showing Up & Expressing What Is

    • Transforming Anger (and Other Difficult Emotions)

    • Making the Invisible Visible / SOIL sessions

    • ReWILD Retreat

  • Beyond Brainstorming - It's Time to BodyStorm
What our body has to tell us

The challenges we face today can't be solved with the same thinking that created them.
Just like brainstorming, where we use our thinking to generate new ideas,
bodystorming creates new insights and helps us move forward - by bringing the intelligence of the body into the room.
Bodystorm sessions are for moments when thinking alone no longer gets you where you want to go,
or when you want to look at your current situation from a new perspective to move forward with more space and creative energy.

How? We make contact with and listen to our whole body.
What does it carry from the past? How does that show up in our felt sense, and how does it flow through into the way we move through daily life?

For whom? Business Bodystorming can happen individually or as a professional team - the form is always flexible. A group or team can be seen as one large collective body.
Are there tensions, doubts? Parts that have come loose?
In a safe setting and with professional guidance, we explore that together -
discovering what is at play and allowing a healthy next step to emerge.

When? When an imbalance arises, dynamics appear that are not always recognisable from within - often referred to as blind spots - but whose symptoms are clearly felt:

    • Loss of energy or vitality

    • Lack of leadership or sense of responsibility

    • Uncertainty or doubt

    • Physical complaints, injuries, burn/bore-out

    • Lack of progress or not reaching goals

    • Tension, gossip, conflict or a sense of unsafety

Bodystorming makes these dynamics visible. As a result, symptoms can recede and new possibilities open up.

Feadan & Friends Feadan works in companionship with a circle of remarkable artists - dancers, musicians, spoken word artists. Together we can design custom experiences shaped to the wish your business body is carrying.

  • "It was FAN-TAS-TIC. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to dance, move and thinks 'I can't dance, this isn't for me'. Then just do it. JUST DO IT. Thanks for your inspiration!”

  • Feadan came to Leger des Heils last Thursday and gave my team a systemic movement constellation workshop. I was very impressed. It was challenging and out of our comfort zone, and yet everyone was deeply touched and excited to do this more often. Feadan is such a natural - she easily takes a team to another level. Wow, awesome! I'd recommend everyone to experience this tool with Feadan, especially teams. The world is ready for this, and wants to experience it. Thank you - I'm so grateful!"

    - Teammember Leger des Heils (Business Bodystorm)

  • I find Feadan such a wonderful and inspiring person! Her presence is warm, with a radiant smile that often makes people laugh immediately when they see her. When she guides a group, she senses like no one else what is needed - without ever losing sight of the individual. She encourages you to colour outside the lines and to give yourself a big, fat YES to everything that feels exciting and new. She has helped me to keep discovering my body more and more, and to give movement to whatever is going on inside me - and I hope to keep following her for a long time to come!"

    Personal & Collective Bodystorm trajectory

  • "Really so valuable! A must for anyone who does systemic work, to become even more sensitive to the even smallest movements in your body."

  • “Feadan you opened my heart for dancing again!!”

    - Participant Energy Movement Retreat (Collective bodystorm)

  • "It was great and in-depth, an exploration into how you can experience and use systemic work much more through the body. I am more in and with my body and I will certainly experiment further and will be there when there is a follow-up. Thanks Hilbrand and Feadan , for your peace, cheerfulness, and love for dance and systemic work, wonderful insights! And new music discovered.

  • The session with you awakened something in me - the feeling of the dance, the freedom in it, the effortlessness. Things are expressed here that I find difficult to put into words. The exercise of moving your life - to retrieve what once felt so difficult and transform it into a treasure - I still hold close and draw a lot of strength from. The landing exercises showed me what it is to be relaxed in the body, and made me aware of how much stress I build up in daily life - and how attuned you can be in that presence, with yourself and with another. You guid the group very lovingly, clearly and invitingly, into a freer space where new movements can develop. It's a beautiful gift you are sharing - to me and to the world. Thank you, and a deep bow."

    - Participant, SOIL Session (collective bodystorm)

  • "I said yes to the non-obvious combination - dance and systemic work sounded like music to my ears, and that's exactly what I found. As a supervisor, trainer, and coach, I love words, but I love movement and body more. In this course there were constellations with hardly any talking - we'd put music on and dance it. That resonates enormously. We practiced with 'stuck' movements and how to free yourself from there, and that's influenced my day-to-day life. We're a head society, and this training is really about getting into the body so feelings, sensations, and bodily language come into balance with the head. It's honestly one of the best trainings I've done, and I've done many. It adds a unique layer - the experience and wisdom of the body - so everything falls into place deeply."

    - Participant, Systemic Movements & Dance Course 2024

  • "Systemic work and dance is a very special combination. The added value for me is that more information is released from my body than I could reach with my head - so I can process it, feel it, and understand it better. Because the mastercourse focuses on making a new movement - or the movement you actually needed - you arrive at a new insight through physical experience, which is immediately different from an insight via consciousness only. It's embodied. That feels very strong, and I take it straight into my work, life, and being. Dancing the constellations gave me much more information than the 'old-fashioned' way of working with them, and the movement itself has a great healing effect - much more comes up from the subconscious. I'd grant this course to anyone wanting to step out of their comfort zone and discover that way of being."

    - Participant, Systemic Movements & Dance Mastercourse 2024

  • "What I find very beautiful is that you take certain age phases and look at where there was a closing movement for you, and what new movement can be discovered to open the way. There's a beautiful build-up through to the age you are now, and it creates a lot of space. It's so beautiful that through movement you discover the body knows, even when your head is not there yet."

Participant, Systemic Movements & Dance Mastercourse 2024

  • "I've done quite a bit of systemic work, and dance is a deep love of mine. Combining the two made me realize that movement and dance really move me - and it's a beautiful new form to do constellations with. It's fantastic; you no longer need words. For someone like me who easily lives in the head, it's wonderful to let the body speak through the language of movement. Feadan brought us into our bodies in such a beautiful, gentle way at the beginning of each day, through exercises I had never done before. Because we started in movement, we could go deeper and deeper together through all the themes that came up. Where Monique put it into words, Feadan did so through movement - and one by one, those exercises touched me deeply."

    - Participant, Systemic Movements & Dance Mastercourse 2024

  • "How wonderful, educational, fun and inspiring it was! Wonderful to further integrate dance (again) & systemic work into my life. Definitely recommended for anyone who does systemic work, and also for other supervisors such as psychologists (and yoga teachers?) who have experienced systemic work and want to move more! Our body is such a wonderful wise resource that we can use much more! I take it with me in all the work I do. Thank you very much Hilbrand and Feadan for the playful, nice, warm and investigative channel."

  • It’s been almost a week and I still have your last workshop’s effects! Maybe because it was my intention, maybe any other reason but since saturday night, i feel so open and boosted. I clarified some stucks and conflicts within myself. You really inspired me, thank you so much!”

    Participant Energy Movement Experience

  • “It was a confronting and at the same time liberating moment, realising I could own more authentic movement. I could feel that my body wanted to move differently than how I controlled it. I realised I tend to make moves by thinking how other people would like to see me, instead of how my body / I wanted to express.. Looking forward diving deeper into this!”

  • “‘You can’t let go of what you don’t know’ Yesterday was the first day of the Systemic Movement Mastercourse led by Hilbrand Westra and Feadan McCall. It was a great day ❤ where I came to understand that what you don’t know, you can’t let go either. Investigating and observing what is (is) happening in the family system is a powerful way of making visible what is there, but you don’t know yet. The awareness of what is happening allows you to break free from what is not yours. In my experience, that is liberating.”

  • I'm on the train to Amsterdam right now for the Energy Movement Dance class. This class goes so deep, and has revealed such important lessons to me over the past months, that I'm devoting myself to more of this wisdom - even if it means crossing borders to do so. It's the value that feels most alive in me right now, and I'm dedicated to expanding and deepening my self-love: learning tools to tune in even deeper to my body, listen more carefully, and give it whatever it is asking for. I'm ready to get my heart cracked open again with the amazing Feadan McCall. Thank you for creating this beautiful, safe space within your powerful teachings."

    - Diversity in Arts History Curator

  • “This class serie was super lovely. I needed to learn how to let go and these sessions where a step forward in doing so, i appreciate it so much! Feadan you have been a great teacher, thanks for teaching us so much with a very cool attitude!”

    - Student UVA Crea Amsterdam

  • Dancing is everything to me: it brings me back to earth when life flips upside down, it gives me energy, it lets me express my emotions — and it literally gives me wings. The Energy Movement class is exactly that — exploring what you can say and do with body and dance through music, guided improvisation, visualization, and various dance techniques. 'Nothing zweverigs, just zweet,' is how Feadan herself describes it. And it's true. Want to improve your fitness, go a little crazy, and polish your dance moves at the same time? This is perfect. You do have to be open-minded and willing to let go — this is no ordinary dance class. I didn't see it coming that I'd spend the first fifteen minutes dancing against a wall, but the dynamics that arise are surprisingly interesting. Feadan builds it up beautifully, starting with breath and focus. Before I know it I'm making moves I've never seen myself do — mind off, go. The energy doubles by the minute, sweat flies in all directions. We do group visualization exercises (normally challenging for me, but here I feel safe), and end with a cool-down in pairs where one leads and the other blindly follows. Energy merges, unity emerges — special. You leave the lesson lighter, freer, charged. Here you can go wild, uncensored. Everything is possible, everything is allowed, everything is good."

  • "I learned that I sometimes hold my breath unconsciously, and taking time to listen to my breath and body is helping me feel more connected. You have such a calm, lovely voice to listen to, and you guided us really well — no force, easy and clear. Thank you!"

    - Participant Energy Moving Breath Challenge

  • "There are so many wonderful things to say about the EM Creative Potential week. I loved how the entire approach connects us to ourselves and to our creative energy through something universal and personal - the breath. I have been living consciously in this way for a long time, and your approach helped me get fully involved in every activity and routine throughout the week. The week was beautifully thought out: it encompassed all the different elements that come into play when creating a dance movement for stage or display. The mix of dancing and observing -looking at our own creations and at the work of others - merged well for me. I really enjoyed looking at all the other creations, trying to see them from each person's perspective. There was also an emphasis on connecting with others while dancing - through eye contact, through our gait. That realization came for me later in the week, but it did come, and helped me experience the week not just from my own bubble but as one shared bubble. As you said at the beginning: we are all on one exploratory journey, in different stages."

  • “I will definitely be signing up for another session, you’ve really sparked my love for dance again!”

    Student Energy Movement

  • The day was a loving invitation to meet myself - in movement, in breath, in sensation, in interaction and connection with the group. Moving and standing still in a safe, warm, playful setting, and really connecting with what lives inside of me. All thoughts and feelings were welcome. Feadan sensed very clearly what we needed as a group: more slowness and stillness in the beginning, exuberance and expression later - always with the invitation not to ignore the head, but to shift the attention to the language of the body."

Participant Energy Movement Experience (collective Bodystorm)

  • "I've never had dance lessons like these. I went from mega insecure in class to so happy - and just wonderful to be able to enjoy dancing. Every week I started with 28,964 thoughts in my head, and by the time I walked out of class I felt energized and radiant - all thanks to you, really. You have inspired me and taught me so much, and I now fully intend to keep dancing!"
