Disclaimer

By participating in an embodied knowing session - including, but not limited to, dance sessions, systemic constellations, breathwork, and retreats - you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms below.

Own risk & own responsibility. You participate in this work - and, where applicable, in a retreat as a whole, including travel to and from the venue, accommodation, and free time — entirely on your own behalf and at your own risk. This means you are responsible for assessing whether the work and/or the retreat are suitable for you, for your own physical and emotional wellbeing before, during and after participation, and for any decisions you make as a result of what arises during a session. Nothing in this disclaimer removes that responsibility from you.

Nature of the work. Our sessions can be deeply therapeutic in effect, but they are not (trauma) therapy and are not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment. The work is focused on personal growth, embodied and emotional awareness, and well-being. We are here to guide and support you in getting the most out of the experience, but we ask that you take full responsibility for your own process and ensure that you feel capable of doing so.

Medical and psychological care. Our work does not replace medical or psychological care. If you are currently under the care of a doctor, psychiatrist, or psychotherapist, or if you are taking medication that may affect your physical or emotional regulation, we recommend that you consult your practitioner before participating.

Physical considerations. As with any physical or somatic practice, some discomfort or risk of injury may arise. Please listen to your body, move within your own limits, and seek support if needed. You may pause, modify, or step out of any exercise at any time, without explanation.

Right to withdraw. You may withdraw from any session, exercise, or process at any moment. Your participation is always voluntary.

Contra-indications. Participation is not recommended if you are currently experiencing:

  • severe mental instability, mania, psychosis, or active suicidal ideation;

  • an active, untreated addiction;

  • recent acute trauma without ongoing professional support;

  • pregnancy (specifically for breathwork - please consult us in advance);

  • epilepsy or a history of seizures;

  • significant cardiovascular conditions, including high blood pressure or recent heart events.

If you are uncertain whether participation is appropriate for you, please contact us before booking so we can decide together. You are responsible for proactively disclosing any of the above, or any other relevant physical or mental health condition, before booking and, if it changes, before or during all sessions, trainings, retreats etc.

Confidentiality. What is shared in a session stays in the session. We treat all personal disclosures with discretion, and in group settings we ask the same of all participants. We do not share identifying information about participants with third parties, except where required by law. Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law (GDPR).

Liability. By joining, you confirm that you are fit to participate and that you accept the inherent risks of this work, including the physical and emotional risks of participating in sessions, exercises and activities that are part of the programme. The liability of Feadan McCall for any loss, damage, injury or other harm arising from your participation - whether occurring during a session, exercise or activity, or during free time, optional excursions, or travel to and from a retreat venue - is limited to cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of Feadan McCall,, in accordance with applicable law. This means Feadan McCall is not liable for harm resulting from the ordinary and reasonably foreseeable risks of this work, from your own choices or disclosures, or from circumstances beyond her control. This exclusion of liability also covers loss of or damage to personal belongings. Experiences vary from person to person, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
