About Feadan

For over thirty years, my life has been rooted in movement. The last fifteen years I’ve been working as a choreographer, dancer & teacher - exploring how bodies think, feel, and respond.

Born in Dutch & Scottish heritage, my movement language is rhythm, raw physicality and precision. Spanning both academic and battle improvisation culture, I work where dance, music, and systemic awareness meet. What interests me is what lives beneath the surface - the undercurrent that shapes how we decide, move and create.

This is the thread that runs through all of my work. Making the invisible visible, through the wisdom and creative clarity of the body - how live flows through us.

In choreography work - amongst others with Danstheater AYA, Holland Opera, Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, Slagwerk Den Haag, The Movers: 100% Film, and Keplerfilm - I make the energetic undercurrent visible.
In coaching with people and consultancy with companies, I do the same: making hidden patterns known, with greater clarity, and so creativity, to respond. The perceptual skill is the same. Only the context changes.

Over the past seven years, my work and practice has deepened through the lens of systemic work,
specifically family, trans-cultural & organizations;
and nervous system regulation;
allowing the body to speak through breath, voice, fascia, bones, stillness. Here I have an expertise in working with the psoas muscle.

Woven together through the cycles of life and death, transforming complexity into clarity like only our bodies know how. This forms the foundation of Embodied Knowing: how we listen, guide, and create space for change.
